What is the Indiana IoT Lab?

The Indiana IoT Lab is a facility in Fishers, Indiana designed to bring the emerging IoT sector together as a lab for innovation and collaboration.

What are your operating hours?

The Indiana IoT Lab is staffed 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday, except during major holidays. Members have key fob access 24/7.

How much is a membership?

Individual memberships start at $1,000 annually. Learn more about memberships here

Is this IoT Lab part of Launch Fishers?

The IoT Lab was proudly developed by Launch Fishers with additional supporters to serve the needs of hardware driven companies that need to make a little more noise than you might find in a traditional coworking space.

Can I bring an idea to the IoT Lab to be developed?

In general, the answer is yes. We can’t do everything and won’t try. However, we do have an extensive network of non-resident commercial members, university partners, and sponsors that might be capable and interested.

What is an ideation sprint or design thinking session?

A wildly popular opportunity at the Indiana IoT Lab exists for corporate teams to explore their business through a different lens. Our unique space offers immersive technology, prototype materials, story boarding capabilities, and world class facilitators.

Will robots and artificial intelligence take over the world someday?

Can I have my own desk at the Indiana IoT Lab?

Yes. Dedicated desks are available at an additional cost. These areas have a higher level of security which allow you to keep belongings at your desk.

How do I become a sponsor?

How is the Indiana IoT Lab funded?

The lab is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We have been recognized as one of the first true public/private partnership innovation labs in the country, and have a budget, metrics, and accountability. We couldn’t do what we do without our Sponsors. To sustainably fund our activities, we actively pursue events, projects, and memberships.

Why lease space at the IoT Lab?

For hardware or connected technology companies, our lease terms are flexible. You will be surrounded by like-minded companies and individuals. You will have access to some of Indiana’s most tech supportive sponsors and venture funds. Your brand will be seen by thousands of visitors each year. Sometimes it’s noisy, but we hope you consider it purposefully inefficient.

Can I just come and work for a day?

We offer guest passes and monthly memberships. However, we do not offer daily or weekly passes. Who knows, we might be able to make an exception depending on our daily programming, so please contact us.

Can I book a conference room for a meeting?

Our members have priority booking rights and a reservation system to our 5 conference rooms. In general, they seat from 4 -20 people. Additional fees and availability will apply.
