John Wechsler

Founder

John Wechsler has founded, co-founded, or served in C-level roles in several high-growth and venture-backed startups including Formstack, Formspring, and DeveloperTown. He is the founder of Launch Fishers, a launchpad for high-potential enterprises, and Launch Indiana, an entrepreneurial mentorship initiative. His newest venture is the founder of Indiana IoT Lab Fishers, a technology Lab and affordable workspace for forward-thinking creators building IoT technologies.

David Bolling

CFO and Executive Director
David Bolling serves as CFO & Executive Director for both Launch Fishers & Indiana IoT Lab, initially joining the team in 2012 as CFO. Before joining the team, David served as Controller/CFO for two Indianapolis start-ups, both sold successfully for owner exit. David is currently President and Owner of Wishoo Technologies and is a member of Ball State University’s Advisory Board for the Department of Management. David is a proud graduate of the University of Indianapolis, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting & Economics.

Rachel Drake

Director of Marketing and Communications

Rachel Drake serves as the Director of Marketing & Communications for both the Indiana IoT Lab and Launch Fishers. She has been with the team since late 2015, initially joining as Events Manager. In addition to managing our day-to-day communication and marketing efforts, she also coordinates event space rentals, organizes events for our coworking community, and manages the operation of the Indiana Coworking Passport program. Rachel is a 2014 graduate of Ball State University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Sociology and lives in Franklin with her husband, Caleb.

Jake Deiwert

Member Experience and Technical Support Manager

Jake joined the Indiana IoT Lab team in 2022 after earning his Master’s in Information & Communications Science from Ball State University in 2021. Prior to that, Jake had a diverse professional history ranging from marketing, to iOS support, to event logistics, and photography and design, where he developed an analytical mindset and enjoyed finding ways to increase efficiency. As Member Experience and Technical Support Manager, Jake directly impacts membership growth and retention and provides technical support to members.
