Prototyping Equipment Training Sessions

Training has begun for IoT lab members-only interested in using the laser cutter, CNC router, 3D printers, or the myriad of other prototyping equipment we have available!

Members are required to go through our training program before building their IoT prototypes, and will be notified via email and our Slack channel with registration information.

Spark Interest with Launch(ed) Women in Tech

Join us at Launch Fishers Jan 30 at 4:30 for the 2nd annual Indiana University-hosted Launch(ed) Women in Tech event, giving 6th – 8th grade girls and their parents a chance to interact with tech products, connect with professionals, and explore STEM opportunities.
PRE-EVENT TOUR: There will be a tour of the Indiana IoT Lab for participants before the event at 3:30. Hear from members Outside Source, 1st Maker Space, and Indiana First where the girls will learn more about opportunities in IoT!

IoT Vending Machine – Now In Service!

The Indiana IoT Lab is fortunate to have an IVM, Inc vending machine on the premises stocked with products geared toward innovation, development, and prototyping. Items available include Raspberry PI, Arduino, Solderless Breadboards, AT&T LTE-M Buttons, and much more. Check it out in the back space!

It’s time to apply for Indiana’s top tech awards!

It seems like only yesterday when John Wechsler won the Trailblazer of the Year award at Mira 2018 (and the awesome group selfie that followed). It’s that time again! We know there are many worthy Launch Fishers and Indiana IoT Lab members and companies, not to mention the rest of Fishers, so let’s give them the recognition they deserve!

TechPoint is accepting applications for the 20th annual Mira Awards honoring ‘the best of tech in Indiana.’ The Mira Awards are like Indiana’s Oscars for technology with award categories recognizing the cities, people, products and companies that make our community and state so special.
